Vocation Days

Here I am Lord, I come to do your will!’ Psalm 40

Year 9 and 10 students spent a morning each reflecting on what it means to be called to serve God and others. Students heard testimony from Fr David Russell and Deacon Peter Barrigan, who both shared their own vocation story and also the joys and challenges of their vocation. We were also blessed to welcome Sister Carmela from the Carmelites who shared, in her own words, ‘my story from my heart to yours.’ Students were captivated by all of the stories shared. Clare Colleran from the Missio then explored the theme of ‘Come to the Water’ in relation to social justice issues and how being a Christian is a call to action.
