Students from Year 8 represented the College at the Darlington Council Commemoration event for Holocaust Memorial Day. The theme for this year’s event was ‘The Power of Words.’ There were reflections and poems shared and time spent in silence. This year’s event took place in the busy Cornmill shopping centre. It was a real witness to see so many people stopping their shopping to take part in the act of remembrance. In College, there was a student led liturgy and a reflection given during morning registration. Pictured are the students with the Mayor of Darlington who was in attendance.
