In May and June 48 of our Year 10 successfully completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh expedition in Teesdale. They navigated over 20km over the two days and set up camp near Middleton in Teesdale. The external assessor was impressed by their team work and determination in the difficult weather conditions. Matilda Weir summed up her weekend expedition. “We had a fantastic time, although we got a bit lost on the first day in the rain. However, we sorted it out and made it to the camp not long after one of the other teams.” All the participants did fantastically well and were a credit to themselves and the college.
