Thank you for taking an interest in our College.

Carmel College became an Academy on 1 November 2011. The College is one of the top performing schools in the country at both GCSE and ‘A’ level. It has a proud record of excellence in areas of sport, music and the Arts.

The College values the excellent support it receives from parents and carers. We have a team of outstanding staff who consistently encourage their students to be the best they can be and ensure that children leave with more than just outstanding examination results.

Our aim is to provide a community that is characterised by joyous corridors and purposeful classrooms, where students and staff are valued and respected as unique individuals and where all are able to grow and strive to “act justly love tenderly and walk humbly…” (Micah 6) in pursuit of the common good.

Carmel College has a strong reputation for excellence and providing a wide variety of opportunities within and beyond the classroom. We do this to develop the skills and experiences necessary for our students to become positive contributors to an all-round outstanding community.

Our strong performance academically and our positive reputation regionally are something that we are no complacent about, but work hard to maintain. We seek to bring out the best in all our students.
